The note shows a cow which looked distressed along with the words: "My name was Chloe. I wanted to live. Your 'personal choice' killed me. DON'T BUY IT."

It's understood that this is not a one-off case and is part of a wider campaign against meat consumption in West Yorkshire.

Proposals aimed at helping families of missing persons are to become law after clearing their final parliamentary hurdle.

    Claudia Lawrence

Claudia's Law, or the Guardianship Bill,  in memory of Claudia Lawrence (pictured), who disappeared on her way to work at the University of York in 2009, received an unopposed third reading by peers.

The Guardianship (Missing Persons) Bill, which will now go forward for Royal Assent, will ensure someone with a sufficient interest in the property and affairs of a missing person could be appointed as a guardian by a court 90-days after the disappearance.

Campaigners believe around 2,500 families will be helped by the law change, making it easier to deal with the financial affairs of missing loved ones.
