Fire crews in West Yorkshire were called more than 1,600 times over the Bonfire Night weekend, the service has revealed.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said it received 1,672 calls between 17:00 GMT on Thursday and midnight on Sunday.
They attended 374 incidents across the county.
However, at four of those call outs fire crews were attacked.
The force's area manager for service delivery, Scott Donegan, said: "While this number is down on previous years one attack on our crews is one too many and we will assist our partners at West Yorkshire Police with any action they take in relation to attacks on our emergency services.
Mr Donegan added: “Historically the bonfire period is one of our busiest weeks of the year. However, this year we have seen a drop in the number of calls requiring an emergency response and this is down to people following fire safety advice and acting responsibly at organised events and whilst celebrating at home."
Police in Hull are trying to track down a dog which fatally savaged another pet before attacking a person.
A woman was walking her dog on Coronation Road South in the city at 14:30 GMT on Friday when the incident happened.
Humberside Police said the walker's dog suffered fatal injuries while the woman's hands were injured during the incident.
The dog which attacked didn’t appear to have an owner with them at the time and was without lead.
A force spokesperson said the dog was believed to be a Staffordshire bull terrier and appeal for anyone with information about the creature or its owner to come forward.
New documents have provided the first look at what the new fire station planned for Keighley could look like.
Proposals to flatten the existing fire station on Bradford Road and build a new state of the art new station on the same site were first announced in 2019.
The pandemic led to a delay in the scheme, but £2.2m funding for the project was included in West Yorkshire Fire Authority’s 2020/21 budget.
The authority says the current building, which dates back to 1964, is “outdated and no longer meets the needs of a modern-day fire service.”
A planning application to demolish this existing building and redevelop the site has been submitted to Bradford Council this week.
It describes the new, three-storey station as a “contemporary take on the existing building.”
The new plans will include four electric vehicle charging points for staff on the site.
The application adds: “The proposed development utilises a material palette that is sympathetic to the local surroundings, utilising stone masonry on all elevations which are visible from the public highway.
“It is considered that the proposed design is high-quality, respectful of the surroundings, and proportionate to the proposed use.”
A decision on the application is expected in late January, and if plans are approved work is expected to begin before April.
A temporary station will be based on the site while the new station is being built, and a separate application for that development has also been submitted to the council.

Former Yorkshire MP and ex-Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls has been working in a care home in North Yorkshire to find out what challenges the sector faces.
Mr Balls worked at St Cecilia's in Scarborough as part of a TV documentary which starts tonight on BBC2.
The former Strictly Come Dancing star, whose mother has been living a care home for three years with dementia, told BBC Radio York: "The reason why governments in the past haven't delivered, part of the reason why there's such a high turnover in social care, part of the reason why people leave so quickly, or move on because it's seen as a dead end job, is because we've never properly appreciated what social care is and why it's important in our society."
The government has already announced an extra £162.5m to boost the adult social care workforce.
This is in addition to £5.4bn earmarked for social care over the next three years from the government's health and social care levy, which already includes £500m to be spent on the workforce.
