It'll continue to feel mild this afternoon, but there will be a brisk southwesterly breeze so I'd keep your coat with you if you're planning to head out.

There might also be some patchy outbreaks of rain.

    BBC Local Live

I've just received a rather handy Christmas travel guide for the rail network.

Here are some of the highlights...

    East Midlands Trains

East Midlands Trains and CrossCountry will be running normal Thursday services on Christmas Eve, ending at 20:00 and 19:00 respectively.

There will be no service by either provider on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.

After that, it gets a bit complicated, so bear with me.

The standout name missing from the Leicester Tigers' squad for this weekend's game against Munster is fly-half Owen Williams.

He misses out having jarred a knee last weekend in Limerick.

He's been replaced by Freddie Burns (pictured), who makes his first start of the season.

Leicester City seem to be doing their best to rip up any sort of form book and records this year.

So it could be a positive that the Foxes have won only one of their 18 Premier League meetings with Everton and none of the last 11.

    Reverse psychology and all that.

She's done it by collecting coupons and vouchers.

We expect it to be busy, busier than normal. Traditionally this last weekend before Christmas lots of people go out and there are lots of office parties. There'll be lots of drinking no doubt and that does bring its challenges, including an increase in incidents, not just for us, but for East Midlands Ambulance as well."
