Staying dry for the rest of the day and overnight. The cloud will break at times later to give some clear spells and that will allow the temperatures to fall.
Sheltered areas may have a grass frost with lows of 2C (36F).

It's believed a fire at Fleckney village hall today was started deliberately., external
The fire service were called in the early hours and when they arrived the hall was "well alight".
It was put out and firefighters finished damping down just before 07:30.
They say 20% of the building has been damaged by fire and 50% by smoke.

Thieves have stolen a safe from Sileby Redlands Community Primary School over the weekend.
The head teacher says the safe was taken from the main office on Sunday morning.
Inside was children's dinner money, money for school trips and £1,100 of reading tokens donated to the school by Network Rail.
Matthew Peat says it's had a negative impact on everyone there.

Leicestershire police have commented on the guilty verdict given to Anastasia James this morning.
Det Sgt Mark Partridge said: “James’ actions that fateful day resulted in the death of two teenage girls, one of which was her daughter. This case shows the shocking effects of driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
“The deaths and now the subsequent conviction has devastated the families of all those involved. We hope that this case demonstrates to others the risk they take when they decide to get behind the wheel of a car, you are not only risking your life but the lives of other road users.”

The two people that died in a crash on Fosse Road South in Leicester have been named., external
They were 24-year-old David Paul Anger and 37-year-old Christopher Mark Needham.
The crash happened just before midnight on Wednesday 9 March and involved a car and a van.
Prior to the collision the car was being followed by an unmarked police vehicle.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Hinckley's old leisure centre is set to cost around half a million pounds to demolish. , external

Victoria Park’s historic wrought iron gates are being removed this week to be restored to their former glory.
The ornate gates were given to the city by Sir Jonathan North, who was mayor of Leicester during World War One.
The restoration is part of a £295,000 project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Police have arrested a 23 year old after a man was stabbed in the back in Loughborough , externalon Friday.
It happened in Oxford Street at about 15.30. The 34 year old was taken to the Leicester Royal Infirmary but transferred to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he remains in a stable condition.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Police have told a former Conservative MP that he faces no further action following an investigation into claims powerful men abused children in the 1970s and 1980s.
MP Harvey Proctor, who lives in the Vale of Belvoir, was given the news in a conference call between his solicitor and a senior Met officer.
The inquiry was triggered by a man in his 40s who claims he was abused for nine years between 1975 and 1984.

The upgrade from a normal motorway to a smart one was announced in the budget last week.
The government wants to make the M1 a continuous "smart motorway" from London all the way to Yorkshire.
Dull and cloudy with little in the way of bright weather and highs of 9C (48F).
Staying cloudy overnight which will stop the temperatures from falling too far with lows of 4C (39F).

You may have already experienced driving on a smart motorway, we have them to the south of us in Bedfordshire and in neighbouring Derbyshire too.
But now, the whole stretch of the M1 in Leicestershire is becoming "smarter".
If you're not sure what a "smart motorway" is it's where you can drive in the hard shoulder during busy times if no-one is using it for an emergency.

During the trial, a jury heard Mrs James had been at a child's birthday party in Islington in north London before the crash.
She took the decision to smoke cannabis either before she set off or during the journey back to her home in Leicester.
Prosecutor Michael Evans QC said Mrs James's convertible car veered into the central reservation near Shawell, then travelled across three lanes of the M1 before plunging down a verge, becoming airborne and hitting a tree at 50mph.
He said her decision to smoke cannabis was "simply unforgivable".
