Leicester City Council has also sent us a comment on its decision to fine Biffa £22,000 for late recycling collections after Christmas...
Quote Message“Biffa are contracted to provide sufficient resources to collect Leicester’s refuse and recycling and are required to do this on the agreed collection day. Unfortunately, on this occasion collections for some parts of the city were delayed by several days. This resulted in Biffa being issued with a service failure notice under the terms of our contract. "The lithotripsy machine required the formation of a new team including appropriately trained nursing staff and radiographers, who help locate the stone and administer the treatment for each patient."

"It wasn’t difficult to tolerate and after the first session I decided not to have any sedation the next time I used the machine.
"This meant I was more able during the rest of the day, which certainly helps when you have children."
