    We understand NHS England has decided the trust in charge of Glenfield Hospital had failed to meet its new requirements for the treatment of congenital heart disease so surgery will be moved to other hospitals.

    Some news just in - we've learned NHS England is planning to stop offering children's heart surgery in Leicester.

    At the moment the surgery is carried out at Glenfield Hospital where there is also an Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation Unit (ECMO).

    It was thought this service would move to a new children's hospital at Leicester Royal Infirmary but NHS England has written to local health bosses to say this will not be happening.

    David Grey from the Leicestershire and Rutland Ornithological Society, external filmed this female peregrine this morning on the platform at Leicester Cathedral.

    He says: "It's a great sighting to see a peregrine falcon on the cathedral itself. 

    "We put the nest box up earlier this year - they haven't used it this year but they have nested nearby."

    He says the morning is the best time to catch a glimpse of them.

    The fastest animals in the world have swooped into Leicester again...the peregrine falcon.

    The Leicester Peregrine Project, external, which monitors the birds, has confirmed that not only have they made their annual journey into the city, but they're also rearing two chicks.

    The funny thing is they've chosen not to settle in the nest box that was set up for them in the spire of Leicester Cathedral. 

    Instead they've headed to another location entirely, which is being kept a secret to help protect them.

    Other matches have also been changed so they can be shown live on Sky.

    The home game against Arsenal on 20 August will now kick-off at 17:30, as will the Liverpool away game on 10 September.

    If you cant make the long journey to Hull to watch Leicester City's first match of the new season it will be available to watch on TV.

    The game on Saturday 13 August has been brought forward to 12.30 as it's being shown live on Sky.

    The 35 new eco-buses buses have cost Arriva £6m.

    Simon Mathieson is the bus company's regional managing director and says the buses will save them money in the long run.

    He says there's about a 12% fuel saving by the buses having stop-start technology.

    The pensioner had cash taken from his house on Andrews Road in Leicester after a group of men offered to fix his roof.

    Bus users in Leicestershire could soon be traveling in a lot more style...

    Arriva has unveiled a fleet of 35 eco-buses with things like leather seating and wifi.

    It also has stop-start technology, which turns the engine off when the bus stops - thought to be better for the environment.

    It's been closed since Tuesday morning after a man was found with fatal injuries by the boating lake.

    Police think he was murdered.

    A film about how Kayleigh Haywood was groomed and murdered will today be shown at a church in Measham that gave support to many people affected by her death.

    Screenings of Kayleigh’s Love Story will be in St Laurence Church Hall between 11:00-16:00.

    Crews have been dealing with another factory fire in the Frog Island area of Leicester overnight. 

    Six fire engines were called to the blaze in Bradgate Street just before midnight. It also spread to second factory. 

    Some people had to evacuate their homes while the firefighters put out the flames but no one was hurt.

    This follows a fire in another factory just a few streets away on Friday.

    Overnight police named the man who died after being found injured in Abbey Park.

    He was 23-year-old Brendan Mason from Glenfield.

    He was found near the boating lake on Tuesday morning and died in hospital from his injuries.

    Police think he was murdered and are questioning a 27-year-old man.
