A taxi driver from Leicester has pleaded guilty to refusing to take a blind man with a guide dog.
At the time, 44-year-old Abandi Kassim claimed it was because of his Islamic religion.
He has now been fined and magistrates told him he should have known the law.

Mrs McRaynolds said: "It needed to be done - if I didn't do it we were going to fall through the floor.
"If I didn't know how to do something, I'd look it up online. You'd find yourself searching for the most random things in the middle of the night."
