Two roads to the north of Leicester are to undergo multi-million pound improvements.
The first scheme will see £7.8m spent on turning Anstey Lane into a dual carriageway between the A46 and Bennion Road in Beaumont Leys.
It's hoped this will help ease congestion around the 2,600 homes being built at Ashton Green.
The second will improve the A512 between Charnwood Road and Snell's Nook Lane to the west of the M1 costing £18.2m.
Quote MessageFor those people who know when we improved the A50 into Leicester, only a mile away, we managed to do so with very little disruption. We're looking to do the same here."
