An inquest into the death of a 100-year-old woman who died after she was injured in a street robbery has been opened and adjourned, pending a police investigation.
Sofija Kaczan died in hospital on Wednesday, a week after her neck was broken when her handbag was snatched on her way to church.
Senior coroner Dr Robert Hunter said there was no definitive cause of death at this stage and examinations were ongoing.
But he said the death of this "dear old lady" had been felt not just in the local community, but nationally as well.
Many of the 25 officers working on this case have voluntarily put in extra hours on their days off to bring it to its conclusion and police have received donations of money from across the country for Mrs Kaczan.
That money will now be given to the church where she was a member of the congregation.

Campaigners against so-called shared spaces are airing their views at a conference in Leicester this lunchtime.
The spaces - like this one at Jubilee Square - don't have traffic signs, pedestrian crossings or kerbs in a bid to make drivers take more care.
Leicester City Council insists they are safe but others have called for them to be removed and claim they discourage disabled people from visiting the city.
The event, which has been organised by National Federation of the Blind of the UK, along with local blind and disabled groups, aims to send out a message that the spaces are dangerous.
