A Derby mother said she had a worrying 20 hours without contact from her daughter who is on her honeymoon in Indonesia.
Elaine Froggett, from Oakwood, said her daughter Naomi Mulryan and newly-wed husband Adam had been staying on one of the Gili Islands, just off the coast of Lombok when the earthquake hit yesterday.
"It was just hysteria," she said. "People were running and she called to say they had left the hotel and were running to the highest point of the island while they waited for boats to arrive.
"They were terrified."
