    A detective from Humberside police says that currently they don't know how long the baby's remains were left in garden drain at a property on Scartho Road, Grimsby. 

    Det Insp Christine Calvert said both the plumber who found the body and the occupants of the house were in "extreme shock" following the discovery.

    It's hoped the post-mortem on Monday will reveal more about the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained. 

  2. Travel: Problems between Ulceby and Barton-on-Humberpublished at 12:21 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2016

    Northern Rail have told us there's no service between Ulceby and Barton-on-Humber because of electrical problems between Cleethorpes and Barton-on-Humber.

    All stations between the two won't be getting any services either.

    They're hoping to fix it by 1:00pm

    Police have told us that they've made no arrests in connection with the raid on a cash machine in Skellingthorpe in the early hours of this morning.

    Witnesses have told us that the gang responsible hit a police car and almost ran over an officer as they tried to escape in multiple vehicles.

    The police are clearly documenting the damage as evidence.

    Jerusalem Road in Skellingthorpe remains closed at the Old Chapel Road junction because of last night's dramatic events involving a Co-op and a JCB.

    It's causing slow traffic around the area including Lincoln Road.

    Yesterday it was announced that Scunthorpe, Skegness and Grantham Magistrates' courts will shut as part of 86 court closures across the country.

    Police say a 51-year-old has died after being hit by a Renault Clio in Fishtoft.

    Emergency services were called to Priory Road at 6pm yesterday evening, the man was taken to hospital where he later died.

    More details emerging from the Co-op ram-raid this morning, James Kirby lives opposite the site, he was woken up by the noise this morning:

    I spoke to one of the officers, he tells me one of the gang members in one of the vehicles tried to ram... did ram the police vehicles and nearly ran over one of the officers.

    This is in reference to one of the getaway vehicles the gang used rather than the JCB itself. 

    Police say they believe a gang of three or four are responsible.

    Police say a post-mortem will be held on Monday on the body of a baby found by a plumber in a garden drain.

    The death is currently being treated as unexplained.

    Jerusalem Road in Skellingthorpe is closed at the Old Chapel road junction because of the incident in the early hours of this morning.

    It's also affecting Lincoln Road between Skellinghorpe Roundabout and Church Road.

    Elsewhere the roads are running smoothly apart from an incident in the south of the county. 

    The A17 in Long Sutton is partially blocked with slow traffic near Mcdonald's roundabout because of an accident.

    Police say they were targeting the cash machine there but it doesn't look like they got away with any cash.

    It happened at around 2:30am this morning on Jerusalem Road.
