Police need to deal with so-called "boy racers" in Lincoln city centre or someone could be killed or seriously injured, nightclub owners are warning.
They say it's an ongoing problem at weekends, particularly in the Corporation Street, Hungate and Mint Street areas.
Managers at both Revolution and Home bars say they want to see more action to stop the speeding vehicles.
But police say it's hard to tackle "boy racers" as they're not actually breaking the speed limit - but driving too fast for the road conditions.

A decision's due to be made later on whether to close one of Lincolnshire's smallest schools.
The county council says it doesn't make financial sense to keep Saltfleetby Primary School open, which currently has 19 children.
But some parents say small, rural schools should be protected.

Lincolnshire needs more pothole-filling machines, according to one of the county's MPs.
Matt Warman, the Conservative MP for Boston and Skegness, raised the issue during transport questions in the Commons yesterday.
He wants the government to urge councils to work together to help increase the national fleet of the machine pictured above which is called a velocity jetpatcher.
Lincolnshire County Council's already got one and Mr Warman says he wants us to have more.

We've just spoken to Nicky Barr, the chief executive of the International Bomber Command Memorial Centre in Lincoln.
She's been on BBC Radio Lincolnshire after it was discovered somebody had climbed the new International Bomber Command Memorial spire.
The spire was unveiled last year and the site is still under development and fenced-off.
Ms Barr said: "Hopefully we can get the message out there that not only is it disrespectful and vandalism, it's also extremely dangerous."

Staff at Lincoln's International Bomber Command Centre say they think someone's tried to climb the memorial spire.
It's after they discovered the fence had been cut and found breeze blocks stacked against the spire's base.
Workers there say the structure has been scratched.
The spire commemorates the 55,000 aircrew who died flying Bomber Command missions in World War Two.
