BBC Radio LincolnshirePolice are appealing for witnesses after a woman was reportedly pushed to the ground this morning and had her handbag stolen on Agnes Street.
It happened at around 10:30am, the woman is being treated for an injury to the head.
A section of Castlegate has been closed off and a 29-year-old has been arrested.

The aim was to travel across various different locations across the county canvassing support as they went. It all started well enough in Lincoln:

Presenter, BBC Radio LincolnshireFan violence has dominated a lot of the coverage of the Euros with the news today that at least 36 have been arrested in clashes with French police in Lille.
But one fan from Stamford who's there says that reports of violence in the town have been exaggerated by the media.
