    The county council is considering cutting financial support to seven museum and heritage sites across Lincolnshire.

    They want them to be self-funded in future.

  3. Man attacked at nightclub smoking areapublished at 11:00 British Summer Time 4 October 2016

    A man suffered head injuries during an attack at the outdoor smoking area of a nightclub in Cleethorpes.

    It happened sometime between 23:30 last Friday and 00:30 BST the following day at the Ku:p/ bar.

    The 36-year-old victim suffered head injuries after getting into an argument with the attacker, he had to be treated at Grimsby’s Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.

    Police want to speak to any witnesses.

    Lincolnshire's air ambulance is currently out of action. 

    It developed a fault, but it is hoped it will be repaired shortly. In the meantime, the area will be covered by neighbouring air ambulance services.

    A Lincolnshire medical director says he's hopeful the Health Secretary's plans to provide more home grown doctors will mean a medical school for the county. 

    Jeremy Hunt will tell the Conservative Conference in Birmingham that he's committing £100m to pay for an increase in medical school places.

    Dr Kieran Sharrock of Lincolnshire Medical Committee says it could help solve Lincolnshire's shortage of doctors.

    Teenage volunteers are helping to redecorate houses run by a Lincolnshire homeless charity. 

    The youngsters are sprucing up the garden and inside of two homes in Lincoln as part of the National Citizenship Scheme. 

    Framework owns the properties which are used to help those who are homeless get their lives back on track.

    We've been covering Serco the private company running some of the council's financial services, extensively over the last year after receiving complaints that teachers, workers and contractors were not getting paid because of problems with their systems. 

    Jessie Bogg in Spilsby rang the Breakfast Show last week to tell us that she was owed more than 1,000 10 months after she cut some grass for the county council.

    Well Serco promised they'd pay her the money she was owed by midnight last night. Did they? Take a listen:
