Lincolnshire Paralympic gold medalist Hollie Arnold has shared her experience of being a contestant on this year's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

Hollie, from Holton le Clay, near Grimsby, is now back in her home county after becoming the first contestant to be voted out.

She told the BBC: "I had no idea or expectations of what it was going to be like. I said to myself, ‘this is an amazing opportunity and you’ll get to meet some incredible people and just go there and enjoy it and face some fears'.

"Instantly, I fell in love with everybody and had the best time ever. And I did face a lot of fears – I feel like I’ve learned a lot about myself and I still wish I was there because I miss the guys.

"It’s such an intense moment and you’re like, ‘please don’t be me’ - but unfortunately it was.

“It was very strange waking up the next day and not being there. It’s very odd how quickly you get used to it and to the people."

Despite being the first out, she says she hopes her family and friends are proud of her.

Rubbish discarded at a recycling centre in Grimsby has become a visitor attraction after being transformed by workers into a Christmas winter wonderland.

Staff at the Community Recycling Centre on Estuary Way created a festive scene at the site using old tyres, traffic cones and other waste.

Employee Matty Harlow said people were visiting to "look at what we've done, they say it's like a day out".

Among the festive scenes are Minions, characters from the Despicable Me films, made out of old tyres stacked together and painted in a Christmas theme wearing Santa hats.

There are also snowmen, elves, Christmas trees and Father Christmas pulling a sledge.

Will Wooliss, one of the workers who helped create the scene, said: "It's all just recycling stuff that's been brought onto the site by members of the public.

"We've wrapped them in lights and baubles and also painted them up."

Old tyres and other waste at a Grimsby recycling centre have been transformed into a festive scene.

Police in Lincolnshire have so far handed out 281 fines to people caught breaking coronavirus rules.

The data was collected by the National Police Chiefs Council between 27 March and 16 November.

The fines include five for not wearing a face covering, according to the Lincolnshire force.

Some MPs in Lincolnshire are still not happy about the county being placed in the highest coronavirus restriction tier when lockdown ends.

A gamekeeper from Lincolnshire says he's had to move house because of intimidation from hare coursers and fears someone will get killed as a result of their activities.

Richard, who looks after 3,000 acres of land in the south of the county, says he's considered quitting his job because of the constant fear of confrontation.

He says he fears "somebody will be killed" as a result of hare coursing.

"It'll either be an innocent member of the public in a driving incident, how they fly about by trying to get away from the police. Or someone will be attacked," he adds.

Lincolnshire Police says there has been a significant increase in reports of hare coursing over the past month.

The force says officers will continue to confiscate dogs to deter the offenders.

Ch Insp Phil Vickers says those responsible are becoming "more brazen".
