'Get yourself seen' safety message to road userspublished at 10:13 Greenwich Mean Time 9 December 2020
Be bright and be seen...
That's the message from Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership which says cyclists, riders and people out walking can be at risk while out in the dark.
The Road Safety Partnership is now urging people to make sure they're visible to drivers.
John Siddle, from the partnership, says it's worth people putting some thought into their clothing:
Quote MessageIn those sort of dark areas and the lowering of light, we just want to make sure people can do the best they can possibly do to get themselves seen. So, wear something reflective, something high-vis if possible, wear torches, lights. Anything reflective that would help a driver out."
