    Police are investigating after the discovery of a large cannabis grow found in a derelict industrial unit in Billingborough.

    The property on West Road was searched by officers last week and cannabis with a street value of approximately half-a-million pounds was found.

    A 27-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been released under investigation, according to Lincolnshire Police.

    Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Lincolnshire force.

    The old Beales store on the High Street is being revamped and will be renamed the Lumley Shopping Plaza.

    The group behind the project says it hopes the refurbished premises can open at Easter, depending on coronavirus restrictions.

    Asa Cripsey, one of the people involved in the site's revamp, says there's enough in there to attract shoppers back:

    A Lincolnshire council has been given half a million pounds to communicate government messages about Covid-19.

    Boston Borough Council is expected to spend the money on areas such as translation services, leaflets and social media messages.

    The borough has one of the highest EU migrant communities in the country.

    A Lincolnshire wildlife reserve has closed to the public to allow a pair of cranes the chance to breed.

    The pair, which nested at Willow Tree Fen near Spalding last year, became the first to breed in Lincolnshire for 400 years.

    Experts are hoping they'll get the same result this year.

    The reserve has been closed because the cranes need peace and quiet to nest properly.

    One of Lincolnshire's top police officers has thanked the Spanish Civil Guard for their help in a half-a-million-pound drugs bust in the county.

    An underground bunker full of cannabis was discovered in Skendleby near the coast in September last year.

    Lincolnshire officers searched the bunker for nine days after the tip-off from the Spanish authorities.

    The county's Assistant Chief Constable Kerrin Wilson said: "This operation highlighted the incredible results that can be achieved by working with authorities from other countries."

    Police are appealing for help to identify these three men seen in CCTV images in connection with a robbery in Grimsby:

    It happened at about 21:00 on Thursday 21 January as a man biked along Chantry Lane, according to Humberside Police.

    The victim was attacked by three unknown men and suffered a serious injury to his face and head which required hospital treatment.

    His injuries are not life-threatening, officers say.

    Anyone with information about the incident, or who recognises the men pictured above, is being asked to get in touch with police.

    The number of vicars in Lincolnshire could be cut due to financial challenges faced by the Diocese of Lincoln, including the coronavirus pandemic, the acting Bishop of Lincoln has warned.

    Lincolnshire's top scientist says he wants people to look at the huge rise in the numbers dying since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic started and remember it can be "a killer".

    Before the pandemic, around 23 deaths a week would be recorded in December in Lincolnshire.

    But Professor Derek Ward, the county's director of public health, says that number has now gone up significantly:
