    A man who had a heart attack during the London marathon yesterday has been named on his Just Giving page as David Seath.

    His page says: "He was three miles short of the finish line and collapsed on Upper Thames Street. 

    "His friends and colleagues are planning to complete what he started, in his honour. We will walk as one, the final three miles of the marathon, starting where he fell.  

    "We are raising money for Help for Heroes, a cause he ran and died for. He was our friend and hero."  

  2. Parents of young man stabbed to death in Tooting asks for help to bring his "cowardly killer to justice"published at 11:26 British Summer Time 25 April 2016

    The family of a student seen "jogging along" after being fatally stabbed has urged witnesses to help bring his "cowardly" killers to justice. 

    Lewis Elwin, 20, died in Tooting, south London one week ago. He was stabbed in the back.

    On Monday his family appealed for help to stop "the epidemic of murders plaguing our young men".

    The family said: "Words can't describe the pain and loss we feel. We are still in shock. We pray that this doesn't happen to your son, your brother, your family. 

    "But if our community continues to stay silent then Lewis's senseless murder would have been for nothing."

    Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli won Young Player of the Year at the Professional Footballers' Association awards last night.

    The 20-year-old was unable to collect the award in person as Tottenham host West Brom later, but former Spurs player and manager Ossie Ardiles collected the prize on his behalf.

    Leicester City forward Riyad Mahrez was named player of the year at the ceremony.

    West Ham have announced that Italian giants Juventus will be their first opponents at the Olympic Stadium.

    The Hammers are moving into the stadium in Stratford this summer. It will hold 60,000 people. 

    The match will take place on Sunday 7th August, a week before the new Premier League season gets underway. 

    Juventus have been crowned Champions of Italy this season and are one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

    After two years visiting almost every country in the world, a touring production of Hamlet has played its final show at Shakespeare's Globe.

    The cast and crew received a standing ovation and were showered with roses as they brought the play to a close at the open air theatre on Sunday.

    Speaking on stage after the performance, director Dominic Dromgoole said the cast had "rewritten the book" on how to do a tour.

    A £10,000 reward's being offered for information that helps catch whoever stabbed a student to death in Tooting a week ago today.

    Detectives say they haven't yet found the weapon that was used to kill 20-year-old Lewis Elwin, and they still don't know the motive for his murder. 

    His family have described his death as "senseless" and called on the community to break its silence to help bring his "cowardly" killers to justice.

    Bacteria from faeces have been found on ice that was served to an undercover researcher at a KFC restaurant.

    The discovery was made by the BBC's Rip Off Britain, which was investigating food hygiene at branches of several big-name takeaways and coffee shops.

    Undercover researchers visited the Chicken Cottage in Hampstead, a branch of Costa in Loughborough, a Café Nero in Bath, and the Wimpy in Basildon, as well as the KFC at Martineau Place in Birmingham for the investigation.

    The A3036 St John's Hill in Clapham Junction is partially blocked with traffic queuing eastbound to the Plough Road junction, because of a broken down vehicle.

    And there is heavy traffic around Parliament Square with congestion on Westminster Bridge to the Lambeth Palace Road junction because of roadworks.
