County council to debate devolution planspublished at 09:27 British Summer Time 11 April 2016
Plans for East Anglian devolution will be discussed by members of Norfolk County Council today.
It's the first chance that members have had to discuss plans that would see Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire get a directly-elected mayor who would have new powers over transport and strategic planning.
There's growing opposition to the plans, with some saying it will simply be another layer of bureaucracy.
