    Norwich City Football Club, external has yet to comment on tweets from the account of the club's chief executive David McNally that appeared over the weekend.

    The first, in reply to criticism from a fan, suggested McNally had resigned but a second tweet from the same account posted at 01:01 on Sunday morning read: "I take back what was said earlier. I remain fully committed to NCFC and to Delia and Michael and I've not resigned. My apologies."

    Both tweets were deleted late on Sunday morning. BBC Radio Norfolk has made several attempts to contact the club over the weekend but none of our calls has been returned.
