  14. Swans in controlpublished at 70 mins

    Swansea 2-0 Norwich

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

This game was fairly even in the first period, but Swansea have seized control thanks to that brilliant Conor Hourihane finish early in the second half.

Norwich need some inspiration here, hence Daniel Farke's decision to send on three substitutes at once.

The visitors are probing, but as yet there has been no serious work for Freddie Woodman in the second half.

Swansea, remember, have the best defensive record in the EFL, while Norwich have not scored in their last three matches.

  15. Swansea seize the initiativepublished at 45 mins

    Swansea 1-0 Norwich

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

This has been an even contest, but it is Swansea who strike first from a set-piece.

After Tim Krul spilled Connor Roberts' corner, Marc Guehi and Jake Bidwell got touches before Andre Ayew scored his ninth goal of the season with a sharp finish on the turn.

Ayew will be delighted with that.

He had gone five games without a goal before this, his longest barren run this season.

  16. Cooper demands morepublished at 27 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Norwich

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

'Pass' and 'quicker' is the clear message from Swansea head coach Steve Cooper, whose team have played some nice stuff in the opening stages but are being pressed high up the field by Norwich.

The Canaries have also moved the ball well at times in what has been an attractive opening quarter.

Norwich boss Daniel Farke looks relatively relaxed in the away dugout, and must be fairly happy with what he has seen so far.

His team have been marginally more menacing going forward.

  17. U21 bonanza for Boothroydpublished at 5 mins

    Swansea 0-0 Norwich

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Liberty Stadium

England Under-21 manager Aidy Boothroyd is in the stands tonight.

Among the players he will be casting an eye over are Norwich trio Max Aarons, Oliver Skipp and Todd Cantwell and Swansea's Marc Guehi.

Before kick off, Boothroyd shouted down to Swansea boss Steve Cooper, his former Football Association colleague, to tell him he would call after the game.

Cooper must hope it is on-loan Chelsea defender Guehi, who has been so impressive for Swansea this season, who lands more rave reviews.
