Nottingham homeless charity Framework has told us they helped two people at the camp who were homeless to find accommodation but a "significant proportion" of the protesters already had housing.
Chief executive Andrew Redfern, said: "We are concerned some may be putting themselves at risk of homelessness by choosing to sleep in the tents rather than occupy the accommodation they have."
The charity said it did not support the opening up of warehouses, factories or other empty buildings as a response to homeslessness, as prevention work and offering specialist accommodation is seen as more effective.

Nottingham City Council says it's "disappointed" it has had to take legal action against the people camping in Station Street, but they needed to be moved in order to carry on with roadworks in the street.
A spokesman said they hoped now the encampment had been deemed illegal in court, the protesters would "move on of their own accord".
He added: "Their presence has caused a nuisance to local businesses and incurred unnecessary legal and clean-up costs to local taxpayers."
