    He insisted it's not a punishment for the players after their winless run but said he doesn't care what the players think.

    A pensioner had a gold chain stolen from around her neck in Bilborough after she was distracted, external by a woman asking for directions.

    Police said a woman placed a plastic necklace over the 82-year-old victim's head as a token of thanks after she gave her directions, but at the same time stole her 18ct gold chain.

    Two men who died in a crash on the A52 have been named by police as Gurdip Kareer and Kyle O'Connor from Wollaton.

    The road was closed in both directions at the time and one side of the carriageway remained shut for almost 24 hours.

    Since the crash, residents in Bramcote have called for better safety measures on that stretch of road.  

    They told BBC Radio Nottingham earlier this week they had been asking for something to be done for two years.

    A police spokesman said Mr O'Conner and Mr Kareer had been good friends.

    Mr O'Connor had been driving one of the cars when the accident happened and Mr Kareer was his passenger.

    Two men who died in a serious crash on the A52 Derby Road last Friday night have been identified as Gurdip Singh Kareer, (left) aged 41 and 22-year-old Kyle O'Connor (right).

    The pair from Wollaton died at the scene after the accident between two cars and a lorry.

    The family of Mr Kareer - also known as Johnnie - said the father-of-three was a family man who would "never be forgotten".

    Mr O'Connor's family described him as a loving and adventurous man and said they would hold his "fearlessness, strength, sense of fun and adventure" in their hearts forever.

    Ms Soubry said someone rang her Nottingham office on Wednesday and made a number of threats to harm her, which she also reported to police and the Parliamentary authorities.

    This morning she had been tweeting about the Richmond by-election when she saw the tweet about her.
