    Sheridan, 52, and Crossley, 47, joined Notts prior to the start of the season.

    A man who was arrested in connection with historical child sex offences at a Nottingham children's home has been released on bail. 

    The 63-year-old was taken in for questioning on Tuesday on six alleged offences involving five victims at the Hazelwood Home in the early 1980s.

    Richard Miller, Aarush's teacher, said the festive-themed exercise was mainly aimed at getting his pupils to practice letter writing. 

    He said: When I read Aarush's, I was quite struck.

    "I felt emotional about it because it was the last thing I was expecting to read, that he had taken himself off to write something that was completely different, that was unexpected.

    "I was really quite moved by that."

    A 29-year-old man has been arrested, external on suspicion of the murder of a man in Sneinton.

    The 38-year-old victim was found with stab wounds to his chest in Mill View Close in the early hours of Sunday and died later.

    He'd been at a party to celebrate the life of a friend who'd been killed the previous day.
