    Notts County’s new manager Kevin Nolan had 15 matches in charge of Leyton Orient last season, winning seven of them.

    Dave Victor, who covers Orient for BBC London, told us: “He’s a great communicator, has natural leadership and he’s actually Orient’s most successful manager EVER if you just look at percentage of wins”.

    Last night Nottinghamshire Police sent officers to Lincolnshire to help with the predicted east coast tidal surge.

    Today Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue are also sending crews to Lincolnshire and Norfolk to help with the response.
