Workers at Wastecycle in Whetstone called the RSPCA after finding her in a rubbish skip on 10 October.

RSPCA staff feared she might have had to have her leg amputated but thankfully it's fully healed.

Sharon Knight, from the RSPCA, who rescued Ashley said she could have died had she not been found but how she got there is a mystery.

"Her mum could have been a stray and left her behind, and her leg injury could have been as a result of being among heavy rubbish," she said.
