  1. Bicester to get 'healthy living' housing developmentpublished at 08:20 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2016

    Bicester will be home to one of 10 new housing developments in England set to be built with healthy living in mind under an NHS scheme.

    Clinicians, designers and technology experts will work together to create the "healthy new towns".

    Plans include homes with virtual access to GP services, safe green spaces to play and fast-food-free zones around schools.

  2. Traffic headlines: Traffic slow on M40 and A34 this morningpublished at 08:16 Greenwich Mean Time 1 March 2016

    • Traffic is slow this morning on the M40 southbound from Junction 10 to Junction 9 for the A34 and the A41 at Wendlebury
    • On the A34 southbound it's looking very slow from junction 9 to Islip, and there's further southbound traffic building in both directions through the roadworks at Milton
    • And Ickford Road reamins closed due to a barn fire between Crendon Road in Shabbington and Sheldon Road in Ickford
