    We've had a huge response  on our Facebook page, external  to the story about the boa constrictor found in a Banbury field .

    It's owner still hasn't been found, and we don't think it belonged to the King of Pop either.

    Susan Lapworth says: "If I would have found this walking I would have freaked out big time!" 

    Jeremy Franklin says: "Poor thing was left to die. I would have brought her home!" 

    Julie Goodall says: "Omg I can just imagine our dog trotting home with that in its mouth!!"

    Angela Slade replied: "More like the snake sliding home with the dog in its stomach."

    BBC Radio Oxford has spoken to Oxfordshire's MPs about yesterday's attack at Westminster, which killed five people and has left at least 40 injured. 

    Oxford West and Abingdon MP Nicola Blackwood was standing next to Prime Minister Theresa May at the time that Black Rod was alerted, and locked down the Commons.

    Thames Valley Police will review security across the region after five people were killed in an attack in Westminster on Wednesday. 

    Chief Constable Francis Habgood said will there is "no specific intelligence" suggesting an "imminent threat", a review would take place to ensure the public are kept safe.

    On Monday Oxford lost one of its true fictional visionaries. 

    Inspector Morse creator Colin Dexter passed away age 86, 14 years after actor John Thaw, who perfectly illustrated the curmudgeonly detective. 

    Throughout Dexter's books his love of Oxford shone through: from Morse's clandestine meetings with leads at the Randolph Hotel bar, to his badgering of Lewis over a pint of nut brown ale in the White Horse.

    Good morning, here's the travel latest from the Oxfordshire Traffic Control Centre: 

    • On the A34 southbound traffic is slow between junction 9 M40 to the A41 towards Bicester.
    • On the A423 southern bypass it is very busy from the A34 Hinksey Hill intercahnge to the Kennington roundabout. 
    • In Oxford city centre there is congestion inbound along Marsh Lane, the Botley Road, A40 London Road and the A44 Woodstock Road. 
    • On the A40 eastbound there are the usual delays of up-to 15 minutes from Witney to Cassington.
