Telford Tigers expect to welcome Doug Clarkson back to training tonight, after he went back on a decision to retire.
The 6ft 5in forward moved back to his native Canada before the start of last season, but said he realised he still had the desire to play.
In the 2016/17 season, Clarkson scored an impressive 50 goals in 53 games.
BBC Weather Watcher Liam Ball took this stunning picture showing a whole array of different coloured leaves in Madeley.

Worcestershire captain Joe Leach is on target to return to full training when the players report back to commence their winter programme in November.
Leach, 27, played just five County Championship matches this summer, after being diagnosed with a stress fracture of his back in June.
But Worcestershire head of sports science and medicine Ben Davies said: "He is progressing exactly how we want him to do.
"He will join in full training with the lads in November. He has made a real good start to his rehab with no pain at all. He is doing bike work, cross-trainer work, circuits in the gym.”
Former Shropshire all-rounder Leach, Worcestershire’s leading wicket-taker for the previous three seasons, was badly missed as the Pears suffered relegation.
BBC Sport Online at least made good use of him as occasional summariser for Worcestershire's Championship and one-day matches.
An old digger has been dug out of the ground as part of an expansion of a nature reserve.
It had been been buried for 45 years, ever since it sank into the ground behind a bungalow, near Whixhall in Shropshire, Natural England said.
Contractors have been the clearing land at an old scrapyard to return some of it to nature and create a new visitors' centre for the mosses reserve.
Nearby, workmen have also removed 75,000 tyres and a tanker containing a load of tar from the former Furber's scrapyard.
Shropshire Wildlife Trust said it was still discussing what to do with the rest of the site, which is covered in concrete.
The owner of The New Saints football club says he may stand for election on Shropshire Council.
Mike Harris is facing legal action, following a row with the Conservative-run authority over whether he needs to pay back £80,000 awarded for stadium improvements.
The council calls the money a legacy grant but sees it as a loan. Mr Harris has previously said it was a grant and repayments were voluntary.
Earlier this week, councillor Matt Lee, an employee of Mr Harris, left the Conservative group, saying he wasn't happy with the way the situation had been handled by the local authority.
Quote MessageI'm disgusted with the way that politics seems to be done. They all go around in their blazers, making out they're important, but when it comes down to it, most of them can't stand up to be counted."

Wrekin College in Shropshire has revealed plans for a £2.5m music centre.
The teaching facility in Wellington will include an orchestral rehearsal room, a suite of individual practice rooms and will directly link with the school's Centenary Theatre.
The independent school in Wellington recently opened a £1m business school.
About 75,000 tyres have been removed from a former scrapyard in north Shropshire that is being turned into a nature reserve visitors centre.
The initial work at Furber's site at Whixall should be completed by the end of the week, Shropshire Wildlife Trust says.
The wildlife trust bought the yard two years ago and hopes to transform it into a centre to educate people about the peat bog.
Shropshire and Telford NHS Hospitals Trust's maternity and emergency services are also under fire.

West Midlands Railway said an overnight shortage caused delays of more than 30 minutes to the 06:53 and 07:15 services.
But there were more problems when an Aberystwyth to Birmingham Service broke down at Telford Central, leaving the two services and the 07:47 trapped behind.
The blockage has now been removed, but passengers were still facing a delay of 90 minutes.
Just after 10:30, the railway said a normal service would be able to resume on the line.

Out-of date-food, greasy surfaces and sauce bottles encrusted with food has led to a Chinese takeaway boss being disqualified from running a food business, Telford and Wrekin Council has said.
Inspectors said China Star City, in King Street, Dawley, "posed a significant risk to health".
Telford magistrates yesterday fined the company £960 and ordered it to pay a £96 victim surcharge after the owner admitted five breaches of food hygiene regulations.
The inspectors said they also found raw beef next to cooked chicken and open food containers stacked on top of each other.
The council said China Star City director Ka-Fai Woo was given an indefinite ban and cannot apply to have it lifted for at least six months.
