    There's been a bit of an "oops!" moment...

    Contractors working at the Northern General Hospital in Sheffield accidentally put up car parking charges when they made a mistake on a new sign in the car park.

    The error suggested prices for staying longer than four hours were rising to £8.40, more than doubling the price.

    But the Northern General say this is not the case and the prices will stay as:

    •   Up to 4 hours - £2.50
    •   Over 4 hours - £3.70

    The signs have been covered up until new ones can be put in place.

    A motorist is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the M18 yesterday lunchtime.

    The 39-year-old's black BMW 3 Series was involved in a collision on the northbound carriageway between Junctions 1 and 2.

    A wheel rolled off a broken-down coach and smashed into two cars, injuring one of the occupants.

    Police in Doncaster are now asking drivers with dashcams who were in the Hampole area on Monday at 16:10 to contact them.

    The wheel hit two Ford Fiestas and left one person with minor injuries.

    It is thought the driver of the tow truck stopped in a layby to replace the wheel of the coach before driving off.

    Police are asking anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident number 820 of 3 October 2016.

    An application to, external turn the field into a travellers' site for 11 pitches was withdrawn earlier this year.  

    Barnsley Council has put a stop order in to halt the work, which is in breach of planning laws.

    It comes after a fire at a tower block in London was said to have been caused by a faulty tumble dryer.

    One of the most controversial parts of Jeremy Corbyn's Shadow Cabinet reshuffle was the sacking of Dame Rosie Winterton as his Chief Whip.

    The MP for Doncaster Central, external had held the post for six years and served three party leaders.

    But there was better news for Rotherham as the town's MP Sarah Champion was made Shadow Minister for Women & Equalities.

    The search for missing Sheffield toddler Ben Needham has moved on to the second site identified by police as of interest to the investigation.

    The 21 month old disappeared on the Greek island of Kos back in 1991.
