    At the Premier League in Dublin last night, Stoke-on-Trent's Phil Taylor beat the reigning PDC world champion Gary Anderson, external 7-4.

    It wasn't as good a night though for fellow Stoke-on-Trent player Adrian Lewis though as he lost 7-4 to Michael van Gerwen.

    West Midlands Ambulance staff could be facing compulsory redundancies, as the trust looks to find millions of pounds in savings. 

    The ambulance trust says it's under "extreme financial pressures" and that compulsory job losses cannot be ruled out, although it confirmed no front-line staff would be affected.

    West Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust, external employs about 4,000 people and says it has to find £8.8m in savings by the end of the year and £11m by 2017.
