    Shoppers in Stafford have told BBC Radio Stoke they have been left confused by a spelling mistake in a new shop sign.

    Fone Giant's red façade is spelt with the A and the I in "giant" the wrong way round - some might also question the firm's own spelling of phone. 

    BBC Radio Stoke has approached the shop for comment, but not had any response.

    Staffordshire's biggest hospital trust, the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, has seen a fall in the number of complaints from patients, external.

    Latest figures between October and December last year show that 221 people submitted formal grievances about services provided by the trust, compared with 251 in the previous year. 

    Of the trust's hospitals, the Royal Stoke University Hospital fielded 173, while 48 were recorded at the County Hospital in Stafford.
