    Oxford United have completed a deal to keep on-loan Stoke City striker George Waring at the League Two club until the end of the season.

    The 21-year-old arrived on a one-month emergency loan and has made seven league appearances for the U's.

    No arrests are imminent say police investigating a robbery at Beaverbrooks Jewellers in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent earlier this month.

    Staffordshire Police have confirmed 10 people were involved , externalin the break in which saw almost £400,000 worth of designer watches stolen. 

    The centre was closed for several hours after the gang struck.
