    Macclesfield striker Jack Sampson went in goal for 86 minutes and kept a clean sheet to halt Dover's winning streak.  

    The hosts had keeper Richie Branagan sent off for a foul on Ricky Modeste and, with no keeper on the bench, were forced to give Sampson the gloves.

    He made several saves but was less busy after Dover's Richard Orlu was red-carded after a clash with Reece Styche.

    The Silkmen dominated the second half but could not find a way through and had to settle for a draw.

    More than 200 dogs suspected of being banned breeds have been seized by police in Staffordshire or Cheshire in the last three years  

    The figures were released to the BBC following a series of Freedom of Information requests.

    Since 2013, 136 suspected banned dogs have ended up in custody in Cheshire and 98 in Staffordshire.

    Breeds banned under the 1991 act include pitbull terriers, Japanese tosas and Argentine mastiffs.

    The Staffordshire world champion Adam Peaty secured his place at the Rio Olympics with gold at the British Swimming Championships in Glasgow.

    Uttoxeter's Peaty won the 100m breaststroke in a world-leading 58.41 seconds, with Ross Murdoch second and James Wilby third.

    He set a world record in the event at last year's British championships in London but has plotted a different strategy this season.

    Two lanes are shut on the M6 southbound between junctions 10a and 10 in Staffordshire because of a broken-down vehicle.

    Travel time is at least 60 minutes and congestion is back to junction 11a.
