    Cattle will be returning to Wetley Moor this spring, in an attempt to restore natural grazing.

    Also introduced will be a new "invisible fencing" system. Cattle are trained to recognise cues from a buried antenna wire.

    The 4,000-year-old Wetley Moor heathland is a site of special scientific interest, due to the rare plants and animals living in it.

    Domestic violence offences in Stoke-on-Trent are at their highest level for five years, according to figures from Staffordshire Police, external.

    Almost 2,500 offences were reported in the city last year, a rise of a third compared with the previous 12 months. 

    This increase comes as the city council, external commits to continue spending £500,000 a year providing services for domestic abuse victims.
