    More on the situation at Hanley's bus station in Stoke-on-Trent this morning - in the last few minutes the site has reopened.

    Staffordshire Police, external says its officers evacuated it earlier this morning due to a "police incident". 

    The force has told BBC Radio Stoke a "suspect bag" was discovered but they think it was a false alarm. All bus services using the station had been suspended or diverted.

    The bus station in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent's been closed this morning by a police incident, operator First Bus is reporting.

    Staffordshire Police has confirmed officers evacuated the bus station as they deal with the issue.

  4. Water pressure warning for Shavington residentspublished at 09:12 British Summer Time 19 May 2016

    People living in the Rope Lane area of Shavington are being warned they could have poor water pressure for up to two hours this morning.

    It's after United Utilities say they fixed a leaking pipe.

  5. Football: Northampton Town to appoint Port Vale manager as bosspublished at 08:57 British Summer Time 19 May 2016

    Port Vale's manager Rob Page is expected to leave the club later today to join League One rivals Northampton Town, BBC Radio Stoke understands.

    Former Wales international Page, 41, has been in charge of Vale since October 2014 and led them to a 12th-placed finish in League One this term.

    Page has a year left on his contract at Vale Park so compensation is due.

    The ex-Watford and Sheffield United defender has been in the Potteries for five years, having first been brought in to join the Vale coaching staff in 2011 by predecessor Micky Adams.
