A woman's died after her car hit a wall in a car park.
She was found by paramedics at the Ankerside Shopping Centre car park, Tamworth, this morning, the ambulance service said., external
They said she was in a critical condition and, despite police and then paramedics giving her life support, she died at the scene.

A wine bar has shut after one of its members of staff tested positive for coronavirus.
The management of Fifty Five Degrees, in Alsager, Cheshire, made the announcement on Facebook yesterday afternoon, external.
The post said the member of staff hadn't shown any symptoms and all other workers were being tested while the venue was deep-cleaned.
It added it had details of all customers to share with the NHS Test and Trace service if they were required to.
A collection of rare Pokemon cards have sold for £25,000 at auction., external
Nigel Brookes, 33, has cared for the first-edition cards since getting them as a gift for his 14th birthday.
The cards went under the hammer at Richard Winterton Auctioneers, in Lichfield, on Monday afternoon.
Speaking before the auction, Mr Brookes said he hoped the collection will be "cherished" by a Pokémon fan or put on display.

The new quarantine on people returning to the UK from Spain won't put off one man from taking his holiday this week.
Ryan Thompson, from Congleton, Cheshire, told BBC Radio Stoke he was happy to fly to Majorca tomorrow and then self-isolate for two weeks when he returns.
As he works from home, Mr Thompson said the quarantine wouldn't be an issue, but he hadn't thought all this would happen when he booked the holiday a couple of weeks ago.
"We thought we'd book as a late holiday, as we thought how much could really change in two weeks, so we thought it would be a safe bet - but here we are."

A man's been arrested in connection with a planned illegal rave this weekend.
Staffordshire Police, external has been working to prevent illegal gatherings over the past few weeks.
The 18-year-old, from Rugeley, was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause a public nuisance and given bail.
Last month, the force made 13 arrests over a planned rave near Chasewater, near Cannock, and five over one planned for near Rugeley.
Also in June, more than 1,000 revellers attended an illegal rave near Lichfield which officers closed down.

Dozens of firefighters have spent the morning battling a large barn fire involving 50 tonnes of straw.
Six fire engines were called to the farm on Radway Green Road, Barthomley, near Alsager, just before 09:00, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said., external
It said the animals inside the barn were believed to have been moved to a safe place.
By lunchtime, the crews were allowing some remaining hay bales to burn out under supervision and had reduced a plume of smoke from the blaze "considerably".

Efforts are continuing to tackle a spike in Covid-19 cases in Burton upon Trent even as new figures show cases are now falling.
Earlier this week, Staffordshire County Council set up a mobile coronavirus test centre in the town with 54 cases confirmed between 4 July and 18 July.
Staff also started a pilot testing scheme for residents without symptoms at the mosque on Uxbridge Street which continues today. , external
However, latest data from Public Health England shows there are now 15.2 people in East Staffordshire testing positive for every 100,000 population in the week up to 20 July - down from 29.5 the previous week.

The number of people testing positive for coronavirus in Sandwell has risen again, according to new figures.
The data from Public Health England shows there were 86 new cases in the week up to 20 July. Figures for the seven days to 19 July showed 76 cases.
That means 26.3 people tested positive for every for every 100,000 population (up to 20 July), up from 12.2 a week earlier.
Dr Lisa McNally, the Director of Public Health for Sandwell, said on Monday it hadn't yet reached the stage where a local lockdown was needed, but she was monitoring the rise.
Here are the rate of infections (per 100,000 people) for all local authorities in the West Midlands - for the seven days up to 20 July, compared with the previous week.

Several caravans and about 20 tonnes of rubbish have been fly-tipped near an industrial estate.
The waste, at Chemical Lane, Newcastle-under-Lyme, is due to be cleared later by councils and a metal recycler.
Describing it as a "major and costly incident", the authorities said the clean-up should be done in a day but the road would be temporarily closed.
The borough council added it was considering installing CCTV cameras in the area to try and stop further fly-tipping.

The join project between Stafford Borough Council and Central England Co-op delivered food to 691 people in just under three months.
The local authority added anyone still needing support can get it via a call-and-collect service from the Co-op.
A boy's been stabbed in a park in Staffordshire this afternoon.
The victim, whose age hasn't been revealed, was attacked in Bathpool Park, Kidsgrove, Staffordshire Police said. , external
He was taken to hospital where his injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.
Officers said a teenager boy was arrested in connection with the stabbing.
