    The force says the 57-year-old was found in cardiac arrest at a house in Sneyd Street, on Thursday and died a short time later.

    Police said the result of a post-mortem examination was "unascertained" and there would be further tests to understand the cause of death. They're still treating the death as unexplained.

    A 61-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death and released under investigation.

    A 30-year-old man from Stafford's been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is still in custody.

    Staffordshire Fire and Rescue is investing almost £70,000 on new equipment and uniforms in case it's faced with another scorching summer this year.

    The fire service is spending £17,000 on wildfire-fighting measures including two large portable pools for pumping water in remote locations known as "dams".

    Staffordshire Fire and Rescue says the expenditure follows recommendations after last year when fires raged for more than a week at the Roaches in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

    The spending was approved at a budget meeting this month, alongside a 2.99% council tax increase.

    Stoke-on-Trent City Council says it's trying to find out just how big customer service issues are at the energy company Solarplicity.

    Ofgem has banned the company from bringing in new customers for three months.

    The council partnered up with the renewable energy firm in May last year in its "community energy scheme", which involved installing solar panels on homes - it's understood 5,000 households in the city have signed up.

    The council says it's aware a small number of residents have experienced problems and it is seeking assurances from the company.

    Solarplicity has told us it has improved and that the ban doesn't affect the solar panel scheme.
