    Danish left-back Jonas Knudsen says he's enjoying his best run of form at Ipswich Town, external.

    Knudsen, who's been ever-present since joining the club in the summer, said: "I think my level has been consistently better and better and I hope we will finish better in the rest of the season."

    Town have been solid at the back in recent weeks, conceding just twice in the last four games.

    Suffolk Police is going to stop taking in most items of lost property, because it says it's not cost effective.

    Insp Bob Cracknell says the constabulary handles a large amount each year and it costs a significant amount of money to process. "The actual percentage of items reunited with owners is very low, somewhere in the region of 3 to 5%," he said.

    He says they will still continue to accept property that's believed to be related to a crime: "For example some jewellery that's found at the roadside which may have been discarded from a burglary."

    Three people are due before magistrates in Ipswich today, charged with the theft of baby milk from supermarkets in Suffolk. 

    The two women and a man were arrested on Sunday, accused of stealing the formula from two Co-ops in Woodbridge and the Waitrose in Saxmundham. 

    The value of the milk is thought to run into hundreds of pounds.

    Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy was in a playful mood when asked about any potential links to the vacant Aston Villa job.

    He said: "They've been on the phone all the time. Texts, emails and phones. My home phone's hot."

    McCarthy, whose side face Charlton tonight, has been made fourth favourite for the job by some bookmakers.

    Communications company KCOM says it is creating 100 new jobs in Ipswich over the next four years.

    Clare Dyer from KCOM said there was a "lot of confidence" in the sector and that the town was "really thriving".

    A recent government-backed report found that Suffolk's digital companies make up almost one in five of the county's businesses.

    After eight months of falling prices, East Anglia has seen the highest recent increases in England, according to figures from RAC Fuel Watch for March, external.

    The figures show the change in petrol prices of just over 3.5p a litre are the second highest in the UK, after Wales.

    Diesel price rises of nearly 4p a litre are the biggest in the UK.
