  1. Barrow MP tells health secretary of tier complicationspublished at 11:42 British Summer Time 20 October 2020

Barrow's Conservative MP Simon fell has been talking in the House of Commons about the complications of Covid-19 restrictions in South Cumbria.

Mr Fell told the Health secretary, Matt Hancock, that part of his area was in tier 3 - medium risk, and part in tier 2 - high risk, and he was not sure which rules people travelling between the two should follow.

Mr Hancock said people following the rules would help Barrow leave tier 2.

If you live in a level two area, then those rules apply even if you travel to a level one area, if you live in a level one area and travel to a level two area, then when you're there, the level two restrictions apply, I hope that's very simple for everybody to follow."
