    Traders in Lindfield are urging South East Water to minimise disruption when they complete the connection of a new £1m water main in the village next month.

    Three years ago some people there told us sales were down by up to 70% because the main road in the village was closed at the north end for waterworks.

    The top of the High Street will be blocked for a month from late April.

    Two years on from the introduction of road-side drug driving tests, BBC Sussex has found that the number of motorists arrested for the offence has doubled in just a year.

    According to figures from Sussex Police, there were 457 arrests in 2016 - up from 236 the year before.

    The BBC Sussex Breakfast Show with Neil Pringle will be speaking to a man whose grand-daughter was killed in a crash involving a driver who had been smoking cannabis.
