She beat former world number one Caroline Wozniacki in straight sets, six-four, six-three, to claim the Miami Open title.

The win lifts her to number seven in the world.

BBC Sussex has been told St Andrews Church of England School in Hove has closed due to a burst water pipe.

The station was told the ground floor was under water.

The deal is with drivers over driver-only operated trains but a dispute with guards continues.

The RMT has announced a new strike on Southern rail to take place on Saturday. 

Southern said it will run "as many services as possible" from its normal Saturday timetable, but warned there "will be some cancellations".
