    A woman who fell to her death at Seven Sisters Country Park has been formally identified.

    Emergency services were called to the incident just east of Cuckmere Haven on Thursday afternoon.

    The woman has been identified as Hyewon Kim, 23, from South Korea. She had been studying English in the UK.

    Early inquiries indicate her death was a tragic accident and the full circumstances will be subject to an inquest.

    A car park on Worthing sea front is being turned into the town's latest work of public art.

    Over the next week the Grafton car park is being transformed from a concrete block to what's being promised will be "a dazzling riot of bright colour and bold pattern".

    The work's being carried out street artist Ricky Also, along with ECE Architecture and the agency Creative Forage.

    It's the team's latest art project for Worthing - in 2015 they produced a display of mirrored beach huts and doorways on the beach.

    The installation, which will be unveiled on 4 July and remain until September, will cost £14,000, with Worthing Council and ECE Architecture footing the bill.

    • A French judge has ruled against aid groups wanting to set up a new camp to house migrants in Calais.
  8. Information on 'train travelling burglar' sought by policepublished at 07:07 British Summer Time 28 June 2017

    Police are appealing for witnesses following a burglary where a man go into a property and stole a purse and car keys.

    The offender tried to steal a vehicle from the drive but was disturbed by the householder and ran off in a northerly direction.

    Tom Carpenter, of the West Sussex Community Investigation Team, said: "The suspect is believed to use the rail network to travel around before walking considerable distances to target premises."

    The suspect is described as white, 45-50, of average build and with short dark hair. He was wearing a blue top and carrying a dark "duffel type" bag with cream-coloured straps.

    The burglary was at a property in Church Street, West Chiltington, at around 10.10pm on Thursday 8 June.
