    Human remains believed to be evidence of a 200-year old Quaker burial site were found during renovation work being carried out at Brighton Dome Corn Exchange.

    Brighton and Hove City Council said the excavations were being carried out "respectfully and sensitively" by Archaeology South East.

    Eastbourne's Johanna Konta plays at Wimbledon today in the hope of reaching the third round for the first time.

    She easily won her opening match in straight sets but to progress she'll have to beat Croatian Donna Vekic, who she lost against just seven weeks ago.

    Victims of stalking and harassment in Sussex are being failed by police and prosecutors who don't fully understand the crimes, a report has found.

    Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and the Crown Prosecution Service say failures mean criminals can go on offending and victims continue to suffer.
