Tributes have been paid to Alena Busmiene, of Eastbourne, who was on holiday in Russia with her six-year-old daughter Ariana.

Alena was so friendly and caring. She was a real fighter. She was a single mum and went to university when her daughter was very little. She handled everything on her own - she wanted a better life for Ariana. She'd tell you the truth even if you didn't want to hear it. I still can't believe it's happened. My brain knows, but my heart doesn't want to know."

    Alena Paldanova, Friend
