    A devout Christian who was dismissed from his roles as a magistrate and NHS boss for saying it was better for children to be raised by a man and woman rather than a gay couple, has lost a legal battle to be re-instated in his health role.

    Richard Page, 71, from Headcorn, in Kent, brought a case against the Kent NHS Trust Development Authority in August claiming discrimination, harassment and victimisation.

    He was removed as a non-executive director of the Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT) in March 2016.

    Mr Page says he will appeal the decision.
