    Jonah Bryant, 12, from Shoreham has become the British Junior Open squash champion.

    The Sussex schoolboy won the title in Birmingham in just 22 minutes as he raced to the biggest global junior title of his career.

    Police in Dartford are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at a supermarket.

    Two men went into the Co-Op in Chastilian Road at around 19:40 GMT on Saturday night.

    One of the men was believed to be carrying a gun.

    The men fled with a quantity of cash, no one was hurt.

    Two men were badly hurt during a crash between a motorbike and a van on the A259 in Saltdean.

    The collision happened at about 16:00 GMT on Friday near the junction with Bannings Vale.

    The 28-year-old biker, who's from Brighton, suffered serious injuries to his leg, chest and pelvis.

    The driver, a 50-year-old from Portslade, was taken to hospital with injuries to his face.

    The government has admitted to BBC South East that a powerful and addictive drug is becoming a problem among teenagers in the region.

    The drug, known as Xanax, is often sold on the black market and may often be counterfeit.

    The Canterbury charity Addaction says more needs to be done to raise awareness of the drug which is often sold through social media.

    St Elisabeth's Church in Eastbourne

    A public consultation ends today on the future of a church in Eastbourne that contains paintings by one of the great post-war muralists.

    St Elisabeth's in Victoria Drive is earmarked for demolition.

    The wall paintings by Hans Feibusch were created during World War Two and campaigners want the murals saved.

    Church bosses say it would cost about £300,000 to remove them.

    A 20-year-old Chatham man is in a critical condition in a London hospital after a crash in Rochester.

    The crash happened at about 14:50 GMT on Sunday on the A228 at Frindsbury Hill.

    The injured man's red and white Honda off-road motorcycle collided with a silver Renault Scenic, Kent Police said.

    The 50-year-old male driver of the car was uninjured. Police are appealing for witnesses.

    Twelve more Brighton and Hove Albion fans have been banned ahead of tonight's FA Cup match with Crystal Palace.

    It's after the club reviewed CCTV footage of anti-social behaviour at the stadium during their last meeting in November.

    Extra security and extra police have been laid on for the clash at the Amex.

    Last time the two teams met six fans were arrested and two stewards were injured.
