    Police in Kent are worried about Calvin Skinley who's gone missing from Maidstone.

    Officers say it's totally out of character for the 58-year-old to go missing and they want to hear from anyone who's seen him.

    He was last seen at his home in Loose at 07:45 GMT yesterday.

    Calvin has a tattoo of the name 'Sue' on his neck and a West Ham Football Club tattoo on his wrist.

    A 13-year-old boy has been arrested following two teenage girls being apprehended in connection with a blaze in Newhaven.

    The three local children, all 13, are being held in police custody on suspicion of arson, after the fire at the former Grays school on Monday.

    They have all since been released under investigation.

    Police are investigating after a car was found on fire on the seafront in Worthing last night.

    Fire crews were called to the junction of West Parade and Anscombe Road at about 03:55 GMT.

    It's believed the black Renault Megane was deliberately set alight.

    Officers say it had been parked at the location there since yesterday evening.

    Two teenage girls have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a blaze at a former school.

    Emergency services were called to Western Road, Newhaven, at 10:50 GMT on Monday.

    Two 13-year-old girls are in custody after the fire ripped through the building and caused extensive damage.

    No one was hurt in the blaze.

    Research by the University of Kent suggests that almost 30% of footballers at top clubs in England may have undetected lung problems that could affect fitness.

    They're calling for clubs to introduce lung screening tests to identify players with potential problems to help improve their health and performance.

    A campaign to try to tackle domestic abuse over Christmas has been launched by Sussex Police.

    It's released a video, external as part of its strategy to highlight the hidden victims, particularly children.

    The force says it receives more reports of domestic abuse over Christmas because people face family tensions, financial pressures and drink more alcohol.

    An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire at a derelict school in Newhaven.

    Eight appliances and 40 firefighters were sent to the site of the former Grays School in Western Road on Monday 18 December.

    Thick plumes of black smoke could be seen along the coast - but no injuries were reported.
