Durham v Worcestershire - start delayed

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Lots of heavy showers are forecast today, so much so I am not sure how much play we will see in CLS, if any.

The umpires have been out a couple of times to inspect and we did have bright sunshine around about 11:00am, but the covers are now back on and the next band of rain appears to be on the way.

It's frustrating given Durham's need for points to try and get out of the relegation zone, while Worcestershire are now effectively needing snookers and miracles to survive.
