  11. What a debut for Hoggpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time 25 August

Durham beat Notts by an innings and 17 runs

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Debutant Daniel Hogg, just 19, will remember this match for a long time.

He's helped Durham to victory against Notts, taking the four wickets needed on the final day to finish with impressive figures of 7-66 in 25 overs. There were also seven maidens.

In all, he took eight wickets in the match and if you add in Ben McKinney's debut century on day one, the Durham youngsters have had a lot to celebrate.

The only downside to the game was Neil Wagner's shoulder injury - but his absence on days three and four allowed Hogg to shine.

Next up, it's Taunton away on Thursday. Durham will head off for a week on the road, with their T20 quarter-final at The Oval to follow on 3 September.

Notts 233-8, trail Durham by 69 runs following on

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Teenage debutant Daniel Hogg has picked up a five-for on the final morning here in CLS.

Both catches have come in the slips. Scott Borthwick took the first one, at first slip, low to his right. That saw off Jack Haynes, who'd faced 172 balls for a very determined 69.

Calvin Harrison then edged to Ashton Turner at second slip on one.

Hogg, who is 19 and came through the academy, has bowled really well in the absence of the injured Neil Wagner. His figures are 5-60 in 22 overs with six maidens.

It's a grey day in the North East and there's a threat of rain in the not too distant future, so Durham need to wrap this up quickly. Two more wickets needed for an innings victory.
